Since a long time the band SACRET OATH passes for the pioneer in the US Power Metal underground scene. Their first release “A Crystal Vision” (1987) with its dark and progressive sound, wich was copied by many other bands a lot of times, is known as a cult-record.

After the band has broken apart for nearly 17 years, it re-united in 2007 with the record “Darkness Visible”, which was followed by a tour in europe. One of the tour stations was in Germany at the “Keep It True”-Festival. The sound material from that gig was released in 2008 on te live-record “…Till Death Do Us Part”.

For the band there was no time to waste and soon they started writing new stuff for a new upcoming album. “Sacred Oath”, the self-titled third record of the legendary Power Metal band was recorded and produced by Rob Thorne in his Angel Thorne Music Studio in Connecticut.

The regular version of the record (released by SAOL/ H’Art on May the 22th) will include 10 tracks and will be available in a Jewel Case.
The Deluxe-Version will include 14 tracks and will be available in a artfull Digipack, along with a text- and photobooklet with about 16 pages.
