DEAD MEANS NOTHING
Bandinfo

If Mickey Rude did’t have that motorcycle-accident in 1996, DEAD MEANS NOTHING wouldn’t exist today. Since that day, he had to change his instrument, the drums to guitar. A year later, during an audition he met Django, the drummer (Marionetz, Freaky Fukin´Weirdoz, Melody Lee, StormHammer). After they had arranged a couple of first singles together, in 1998 they got to know the bassist Marc O´Caine (Bombers from Burundi, Intoxicate, Dollsquad) and very soon recorded the song “Make It Evil”. Those days their songs represented the radical Speed-Thrash-Rock`n´Roll and they played them on different stages until they broke up in 1999.

At the end of the year 2006 the band got together again, in order to raise the roofs of the concert halls and to let the audence’s ears bleed. They delved themselves into the studio and worked hard on the so called “swine-dirty Rock’n’Roll” sound of the new album. At the turn of 2008 Marc left the band, which found Holger K. as the new bass.

Holding their CD “Nothing of Divinity” in their hands, from May on the band is on its way to conquer the Rock-stages. Actually the new album outlines the thrashy days of the band, offering an extremly rough and premium Hard Rock / Rock’n’Roll quality à la Motörhead.

At last, here is that brandnew CD of DEAD MEANS NOTHING after ten long years of waiting! It shows a suprising development ! So: Save your Daughterz - DEAD MEANS NOTHING is back in Town…namly on Mai 22th 2009!!
